The ability to snap a badass selfie isn’t world changing, I know, but isn’t it amazing that children growing up now will be able to take these perspectives for granted? With drones and Google Earth, their capacity to witness, to step into an eye-in-the-sky perspective, will be there from day one.
Someone called Jericsaniel won second place in Dronestagram’s first annual contest with the picture above, taken in his hometown in the Philippines. “Looking at this picture, I realized how happy my drone makes people.” You can see some videos he’s made here.
